Disney Villains Polish in Evil Queen
My sister got me the Disney Villains polish set for my birthday, and I was SO excited. Seriously, Disney plus nail polish- what’s not to love? I started with the Evil Queen polish, since I have to put my Disney things in chronological order or I’ll die.
Color: a deep burgundy, almost black, with gritty magenta glitter and a matte finish
Number of Coats: I could have stopped at 2, but I kept painting on layers…so I think I stopped at 4
Consistency: It went on pretty well- not splotchy, and it covered easily, even with the glitter.
Staying Power: Decent! A little bit of wear right on the edge, but that’s normal for me.
Number of Cotton Pads Used to Take It Off: Oh lordy. It took 4. And I had to scrub. Like seriously scrub at it. It’s not even a chunky glitter!
Color and Dupes: I really like how unusual the color is, especially with the matte finish. I don’t have anything similar to it in my collection!
Restock: I probably won’t restock, mostly because I won’t want to repurchase the whole set. Plus, the mood for super dark polish really doesn’t strike often, and I’m not completely sold on the matte finish.
Overall: A really unique color that reminds of the Queen in Snow White- which I guess is what they were like, going for and stuff.
